VOLUNTEER CREW DESCRIPTIONS

NOTE: We appreciate your dedication to volunteering! To ensure a focused and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly request that children not accompany you during your shifts. Feel free to bring your little ones to the festival, where they can be in the care of another adult during your working hours. To make the most of your time, come prepared by being well-rested, nourished, and hydrated—don’t forget your water bottle! Additionally, for a safe and vibrant atmosphere, we ask that no alcoholic beverages or drugs be consumed before or during your shift. Thank you for contributing to a positive festival experience!

Your task will be distributing tickets, taking advance issued tickets, arranging for utilities and giving out general information. It’s important to have patience and good listening skills to ensure each guest has a pleasant experience right from the start.

Physical Requirements: Long hours of standing and running back and forth between customers waiting in line.  This job requires standing with the potential for weather conditions of rain or extreme heat.

Shift Length: 3 – 3  1/2 Hours, Tuesday through Saturday

Volunteers should arrive Monday for check-in and be ready to work on Tuesday.

ELIGIBLE FOR FREE 6 DAY PASS 

Your task will be scanning tickets with smart phones so being familiar with these will be helpful. You’ll also need to be good at making change.  The runner/greeter will bring tickets and/or money to exchange for the correct wristbands etc. You’ll also be in charge of issuing utility sites.

Physical Requirements: Standing/Sitting for long hours in confined space.

Shift Length: 3 – 3 1/2 Hours, Tuesday through Saturday

Volunteers should arrive Monday for check in and be ready to work on Tuesday.

ELIGIBLE FOR FREE 6 DAY PASS

Assist and engage with young festival attendees as a Children Activities Assistant from Thursday to Saturday. This role involves facilitating various activities, games, and entertainment for children, ensuring a fun and safe environment. As a crucial part of the festival experience, you’ll contribute to creating lasting memories for the youngest participants.

Note: Prior experience or interest in working with children is beneficial for this role.

Shift Length: 2 – 3 Hours, Thursday through Saturday

Volunteers should arrive Thursday for check in and be ready to work at noon.

ELIGIBLE FOR FREE 4 DAY PASS 

Assist patrons in finding a parking space and direct them to the ticket booth.

Physical Requirements: Long hours of standing and running back and forth between customers waiting in line.  This job requires standing with the potential for weather conditions of rain or extreme heat.

Shift Length: 3 – 3 1/2 Hours, Tuesday through Saturday

Volunteers should arrive Monday for check-in and be ready to work on Tuesday.

ELIGIBLE FOR FREE 6 DAY PASS 

Assist RV owners with parking vehicles or tents as needed, ensure they are parked correctly and not taking up too much space and that roadways are clear.

Physical Requirements: Hours of standing and assisting customers with their set-up when needed.  Also has the potential for weather conditions of rain or extreme heat.

Tuesday through Saturday

Volunteers should arrive Monday for check-in and be ready to work on Tuesday.

ELIGIBLE FOR FREE 6 DAY PASS

Requires teamwork and must be physically fit to help set up the sound system, banners, tents, etc. and tear down on Sunday night and Monday morning.  You’ll also need to take a shift to collect dump passes from the fans that are dumping their RV’s.  This position is not the most enjoyable but it allows you to enjoy more of the festival.  You’ll be eligible for the 6-day pass.

Physical Requirements: Heavy lifting.  Also has the potential for weather conditions of rain or extreme heat.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,  Sunday and Monday

Volunteers should arrive on Monday.

ELIGIBLE FOR FREE 6 DAY PASS

Provides various wristband checks and security in areas presenting minor security risks

Physical Requirements: Hours of sitting and standing.  Also has the potential for weather conditions of rain or extreme heat.

Shift Length: 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 Hours, Thursday through Saturday

Volunteers need to be available to work Thursday through Saturday.

ELIGIBLE FOR FREE 4 DAY PASS

Looking for individuals that enjoy working with the public.  Good communication skills a must, and ability to handle confrontations as necessary.  Ensure compliance of Festival Rules is adhered to.

Physical Requirements:  Need to be able to stay awake late into the night and be safe driving a golf car.  Also has the potential for nighttime weather conditions.

Shift Length: 4 Hours, Tuesday-Thursday

Volunteers need to be available to work Thursday through Saturday.

ELIGIBLE FOR FREE 6 DAY PASS 

This position must enjoy interaction with children.  You’ll assist the team leaders with things like arts and crafts, games, projects, etc.!

Afternoon Shift Length: 3-4 Hours, Thursday through Saturday

Evening Shift (For Movie Theater) Length: 2 Hours, Thursday through Saturday

Volunteers need to be available to work Thursday through Saturday.

ELIGIBLE FOR FREE 6 DAY PASS

Sells raffle tickets from both the booth in the concert area and throughout the festival grounds.

Physical Requirements: Hours of sitting and walking.

Shift Length: 4 Hours Thursday through Saturday

ELIGIBLE FOR FREE 4 DAY PASS

Sell Jenny Brook or Artist Merchandise.  Must be able to make change and be courteous to customers.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS

Notification of cancellation for Jenny Brook must be received by 5 pm EST June 1st. This includes any individual shift cancellations.  New volunteers who cancel after that date or fail to successfully complete any volunteer shift, will have their deposit check cashed by Jenny Brook. Volunteers who cancel after June 1st will not be considered for volunteer positions the following year.
